Our Very Own Garage Sale

Remember how I said I was complaining to my friend Cari about chicken casseroles? Well, we had time to sit around and do things like that because we were hosting our very own grown-up Garage Sale.

Friday it was very successful. Cari made something like a ga-zillion dollars, and I made a few. My mom had some pretty iris bulbs for sale, and another friend, Cristi made a few bucks too.

Then Saturday was a doozy. We set it all up to make a whopping $3. I don't know what the deal was... probably it was because all we had left was junk - but no one showed up on Saturday, so we packed it up early.
BabyBug and I found out there are also lots of other fun things you get to do when you're having garage sales... like paint two-year old toe nails, and play with new people who have fun beards.

All in all, it was lots of fun and worth the work. But I still have stuff to sell! Maybe another one later in the summer...

Heather....you had asked me about my friend's baby carriers at Stace's shower. She has a blog that I've been meaning to share with you for a while now. Check it out at puttingonbaby.blogspot.com and see what she does. She's also going to the National Baby Wearing convention that's in Chicago coming up. I don't know much about this stuff, yet, but she sure does!

Enjoy reading your blog. Saw it tagged on Leah's blog. Use to live in Indianapolis too, but now call NM home for the time being. Just a shout out from a reader.
Also, a good baby carrier is the ergo carrier.
