Aquarium in Tennessee

On our way home from Florida we stopped at the Tennessee Aquarium to break up the trip. If you've never been there, you should go. We had a wonderful time, and even BabyBug thought it was pretty cool. I went once in college for an Architecture field trip - just the buildings alone are worth seeing.

This is where Justin got to pet a shark...

Miss Bug just watched. No shark petting for her yet.

Probably my favorite thing we saw at the aquarium. This is about the point where I think the turtle woke up and realized there was an alligator(crocodile?) asleep on its back. He looked a little panicked.

If you look closely, that's not a bunch of weeds... it's a seahorse! I swear.

Ok. My last favorite thing, and then on to pretty pictures... This superscary turtle is trolling for fish, "dumb enough to think her tongue is a worm." She just sat like that the whole time, absolutely motionless, except for her tongue kind of wiggling around.

Oh my...I take it you guys drove down to Florida, what a long trip! How did Lily do in the car that long? We have a long trip plan to New York at the end of May and then we are going to Florida in June, but I think we are going to fly to Florida. Carter's been in the car for 8 hours so far but not sure about the 14 to New York...could be rough :)
