They may look sweet, but they're little monsters.

Justin suggested that I wasn't telling the whole story about the dogs and the house decorating... so I'll add in a little "behind the scenes" commentary...

What you're not seeing in the pictures is that on the night of the judging when Justin drove up to his crazy looking house, his crazy wife was also dressed up as a witch and standing in the yard with two 50 pound dogs in costumes. In my defense, I have some really cool black and purple striped tights that I was dying to wear.

The other "fun" side item is that the following morning, when we let the dogs out to do their business, they discovered they could remove the lids off the smaller pumpkins. So the little devils STOLE the lids and ATE them, and then proceeded to attempt to eat one of the smaller pumpkins in it's entirety. Needless to say, this only encouraged the squirrels, who during the day on Thursday began eating away at the eye holes on two of the pumpkins and scattered lost seeds all over the porch.

So to top it all off, in the middle of the night, one of the dogs got sick - maybe because he ate a pumpkin? - and we spent a few hours of the night awake, angry, and cleaning.

You've got to love 'em, at least they make our lives interesting. :)
