Here I sit, 39 weeks and 5 days pregnant. We officially had our LAST pre-natal doctor's appointment today! I'm still holding at about 50% effaced, but I am up to 4cm! How we got this far without some major contractions is beyond me, but I'll take it. It's not that I'm not having contractions, they just aren't regular or increasing; they're sporadic and unpredictable.
This was officially the last appointment because we are definitely delivering on September 6th. We made it off the wait list, and on to the induction list - so 6 am Thursday morning we'll be at the hospital getting ready for our new baby to arrive! Still, there's a chance that between now and then these contractions could figure it out... but I'm not holding my breath. That said, this will probably be the last pre-baby post for the blog, so keep checking and we'll get pictures on here as soon as possible of our new addition!

Oh Heather, how exciting!!! I bet you are overwhelmed with emotions right now! I hope you have a very easy delivery and that Lily is just perfect when she enters the world. We found out this week that we're having a boy so it's getting pretty exciting for us now!
AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! I keep checking every minute, waiting and hoping! I'll probably start stalker calling you... is she here yet? Is she here yet?
