It's time to break out the grill! Thank goodness for pretty days and nice weather! In the summertime, we tend to grill out just about every day of the week... and we tend to try putting just about everything on the grill as well. So here are two of our favorite grill recipes... one from the Camburns, and one inspired by the Maltburgs and all their lovely fresh corn.
Grilled Breakfast
Ingredients:
refrigerated biscuits
cheese
sausage patties
Grill sausage patties and biscuits. Yes, grill BOTH. And when the biscuits are done and slightly charred, and the sausage is cooked through, make a lovely little biscuit, sausage, cheese sandwich. Yum.
Grilled Corn (from Joy of Cooking)
Soak ears of corn in the husks in cold water for 2 to 3 hours before putting them on the grill. Lay the ears directly on a hot grill rack, turning to roast evenly on all sides, for 8 to 15 minutes depending on the heat. Slather in butter and enjoy!
And don't forget about my FAVORITE marinade! Grilling is not complete without it.

I LOVE GRILLING! My husband made the most incredible ribs ever this weekend... 12 hours marinaded, 6 hours slow cooked, 1 hour grilled. :) mmmmmmmmm
Maybe we can grill out together soon!?
That sausage biscuit sounds lovely!!! I will have to try it. YEAH JETTA!!!
Here's another grilling tip for everyone: put whatever you want on the grill, add six ice cold budweisers and enjoy.
