Pot Roast, it's what's for dinner tonight.
For the first two years of our marriage I tried, and tried, and tried to make pot roast. It was always dry and gross. Poor Justin, and what he had to suffer through.
Finally, this year, I conquered the pot roast! And all thanks to The Pioneer Woman and her fantastic recipe.
I'm not going to bother posting the recipe. Go here and read it, and marvel in her lovely pictures. The only thing I do differently is use dried herbs and peel the carrots.
And tomorrow, with the leftovers, it's Beef Manhattan day! Yum-o.

I think I've been watching a little too much Rachel Ray. :)

So I just checked out the Pioneer Lady's website- how great is that?! I love all the pictures.
Mines easier! A can of cream of mushroom soup, a pack of lipton french onion seasoning and a roast. Put it all in a slow cooker and in 6 hrs you have the best roast and gravy!
I love the Pioneer Woman!!
