A friend at work gave me a few copies of this magazine just before Lily was born, and I can't say enough good things. This magazine is WONDERFUL. I devour it from cover to cover. I save the issues. It's fabulous. I got the subscription from my Grandparents for Christmas, and even my Grandma said it was wonderful.
Ok. You get it, it's wonderful. But why?
Well let’s see. It has loads of fun things to do with your kids (that's why I'm saving it). It's cheap (10 issues for $10). It has a nice fancy website. It has stories and articles from parents that are actually entertaining and worth reading. Articles are short, so I can actually manage to read a whole one during a feeding (that's why I like the hard copy vs. the website... I read it while I'm nursing). It has very few ads. It has nice heavy book-like pages. It's pretty. It rejuvenates me. When I'm feeling like I have no idea what I'm doing, or just in a rut, it inspires. It has articles for people with infants to tweens. It's educational, but it doesn't feel educational. And I can tell you it's heads above the other baby/ parenting magazines... I also get a subscription to AmericanBaby, which is good, but it's no Wondertime.
Go get this. If you have a baby, or a toddler, or even just know someone with kids. You need this magazine.
