A year ago this month I started our blog. It's amazing how much life can change in one year! In honor of looking back, here we are Halloween 2003... it's amazing how time flies! In 2003 we were both in college, and we spent Halloween in Angola at Tri-State. That Halloween we saw some of the best costumes I've ever seen:
Yes, those are real kegs that they cut the tops and bottoms off. (To really get how funny this is, you have to realize that it was freezing outside, and the kegs were just held up with bungee cords, which of course were digging into their shoulders pretty seriously with the weight of the kegs - not to mention that the kegs went down to their knees, so they couldn't bend and could barely walk.) Too bad I don't have video of those guys walking -I mean waddling- down the street in that get-up... it was priceless!
