This week my parents went camping in French Lick, they rented a pontoon boat, so on Wednesday Justin and I took the day off, packed up the dogs and headed down there to spend the day on the boat. We had a great time. It turned out to be a beautiful day and the dogs were lots of entertainment! My brother also brought down his dog, Tess and my parents dog Molly- so we had a boat full!
Mamaw and Papaw were camping with my parents, so they came to see us off, but didn't go out on the boat.
We bought the dogs life jackets, and they weren't sure what to make of them at first.
Gertrude was especially upset about the boat and the jacket, but once she got in she realized that it made her float without working so hard to swim and she LOVED it! Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of her in the water, which is strange because all three of the big dogs almost never left the water.
Gus wasn't as big of a fan of the life jacket. He's such a good swimmer that it slowed him down. But when he started to get tired, I think he started to enjoy it more. Most of the time we took it off him. He's such a water dog, I think if we had a pond in our backyard he might never get out.

And this is about as close as you're going to get to seeing me in a bathing suit. But you do get to see what I see when I look down. :)
